Landmarks SGA to participate in PA Preservation Heritage Conference

Sean Garrigan will use his expertise in brownfields revitalization to share ideas on turning historic treasures into vibrant and diverse communities.

Sean Garrigan, Principal, RLA, AICP, ASLA, will be participating in the Conference on Heritage in Chambersburg, PA (June 19th-21st). Sean will be hosting a session along with Jill Gaito, Deputy of the former Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and President of Gaito & Associates. This session, titled "The U.S. EPA Brownfields Program: New Tools for Preservation Planning," addresses and discusses how grants and technical assistance programs can support the preservation and adaptive reuse of historic resources, and add to the overall vibrant character in a community. Case studies from communities across Pennsylvania will be analyzed and leveraged for ideas and principles that will be tailored for local government.



"The U.S. EPA Brownfields Program: New Tools for Preservation Planning," will be held in the Jensen Dining Hall on June 20th from 10:45 AM-12:00 PM. Local governments staff and elected officials, and preservation advocates including community-based preservation non-profits are encouraged to attend.
