Captain William Vicary Mansion Repairs

Historic Conditions Assessment

Conditions Assessment, Project Prioritization, Exterior Renovations

2023-current

The Captain William Vicary Mansion is one of the most significant historic buildings in Beaver County; built in 1826-1832 out of locally quarried sandstone. Landmarks SGA was engaged to perform a conditions assessment to identify potential threats to the building, as well as to recommend a series of projects to renovate the building in phases. The first of the identified projects relate to the main porch structure and the existing black slate roofing and copper built-in gutters. Landmarks SGA is currently completing the Construction Documents for this work and will perform Construction Administration duties after bidding is complete.
